This was not my favorite science experiment… but it needed to be done. 😅

We now have 14 bee hives and 2 nucs on the homestead. The nucs will be heading up to the Ames area for a friend but the 14 are all ours. I’m confident we will end up with more than 14 once swarm season is over.

Any followers out there located in the country within 4 miles of Norwalk? Would you be interested in hosting some hives on your property? We have never had hives on another property but at this rate we may need to expand our apiary to other locations.

We may not have had a booth of our own, but I spent enough time walking those aisles to see the heart behind the handwritten tags, the thoughtfully curated spaces, the long hours that turned into something meaningful. We even considered joining at one point, inspired by what you all created.
