🐢💛 This young Amazon Basin Yellowfoot Tortoise (Chelonoidis denticulata) is loving its Mazuri meal! These giants of the rainforest are known for their vibrant yellow head and leg scales, impressive adult size, and calm, food-motivated personalities.

🥶It was cold and windy today, but the bright sun enticed some of our hardy specimens to emerge for some basking. It’s so cool to see these amazing reptiles out and about in late November!🐢☀️

These two young male Concentric Diamondback Terrapins are soaking up the warmth and loving life under their basking lamp! 🐢🔥

Diamondbacks thrive when they have access to proper heat, UVB, and clean filtered water. Watching them stretch out and bask is one of the most rewarding parts of keeping this incredible species! 🌊✨
