How do nature, community and connection support mental wellness?

This National Men's Health Month, join NAMI and the Community Health Equity Alliance (CHEA) for a conversation about restoring Black men's well-being through community, outdoor connection and culturally rooted support.

Hear from leaders at Boyz N The Wood, HBCUs Outside and African American Male Wellness Agency who are helping create spaces where Black men can heal, thrive and build meaningful connections.

Together, they'll explore how nature, brotherhood, health education and community-based support can strengthen mental wellness and long-term well-being.

For many, Father’s Day is a celebration, but for widows and children who have lost a husband and a father, it can also be a day of deep remembrance and tender sorrow.

Today, I acknowledge the weight of that loss. I honor the love that still lives on in memories, in lessons, and in the legacy left behind.

To every woman carrying the absence of her husband and to every child missing their father’s embrace, your Love Story did not end—it continues in YOUR STRENGTH, YOUR FAITH, AND YOUR COURAGE TO KEEP GOING.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 (NCV)

Even in grief, YOU ARE HELD.
Even in loss, YOU ARE LOVED.
Even in absence, GOD'S PRESENCE REMAINS.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE THIS
FATHER'S DAY ❤️

Today, I lift my hands and heart in gratitude to God, for He is the One who breaks chains, the One who hears the cries of His people, and
the One who turns bo***ge into FREEDOM.

Just like the dawn breaks after the longest night, God’s power moved through generations, freeing bodies, restoring dignity, and reminding us that FREEDOM is part of His Divine Promise.

Today we remember.
Today we honor.
Today we rejoice.

Thank You, Lord, for being our Deliverer, for breaking every chain seen and unseen, and for the FREEDOM that still lives and breathes within us.

WE ARE FREE.
WE ARE RISING.
WE ARE STILL STANDING.
