I want to extend my sincere thanks to LINC Milwaukee for inviting me to share with the leaders in the Mission Accelerator Cohort. It was truly an honor to be part of such an inspiring gathering of individuals who are seeking God's direction for their ministries, businesses, and nonprofit ventures.

As someone who has walked through seasons of loss, healing, and purpose-filled entrepreneurship, I was grateful for the opportunity to share my journey and encourage these emerging leaders to remain faithful to the vision God has placed on their hearts. There is something powerful about being in a room filled with people who are committed to serving others and advancing the Gospel through their unique callings.

Thank you to the entire LINC team for investing in leaders and creating spaces where clarity, growth, and transformation can flourish. I was also blessed by the beautiful worship experience led by Emeli-Mari Gaston and Zorea Ministries, which set the tone for reflection and inspiration.

I look forward to seeing how God continues to move through this cohort as they finish strong and step boldly into their assignments. The best is yet to come!

Remembering September 11

Today, we pause to honor and remember the thousands of precious lives that were lost on September 11, their families whose lives were forever changed, and the brave first responders who courageously answered the call.

As The Compassionate Widow, I understand that grief does not follow a calendar. For many, September 11 is not simply a day in history. It is the anniversary of a loved one's last smile, last hug, last conversation, and a loss that continues to echo through generations.

Twenty-five years later, we remember those who were taken too soon. We honor the resilience of surviving spouses, children, parents, siblings, and friends who have learned to carry both grief and love forward. Their stories remind us that while loss changes us, love never leaves us.

Today, let us extend compassion to those who still grieve, pray for continued healing, and commit ourselves to living lives marked by Kindness, Unity, and Hope.

We Remember.
We Honor.
We will Never Forget.

With Love and Compassion,

Genene Onaye

RESTORED Women’s Conference Breakout Spotlight: “Restored to Impact: Leading with Purpose” with Erica Gumieny.

Ministry leaders spend their lives pouring into others — but what happens when the one doing the pouring becomes clogged?

Responsibilities, expectations, people‑pleasing, burnout, and carrying burdens that were never ours to bear can slowly block the joy, peace, and purpose God intends for us.

In her humorous, faith‑filled breakout session, “Restored to Impact: Leading with Purpose,” Erica brings her unforgettable CLOG to FLOW framework to life.

She helps women identify what’s keeping them spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and relationally stuck — and how to release what no longer belongs.

Through practical tools, biblical truth, and plenty of laughter, attendees will learn how to move from exhaustion to overflow, stepping back into leadership with clarity, confidence, and renewed purpose. If you’re ready to unclog what’s blocking your flow and lead from a restored place, this session is for you.

Breakout Session Title: Restored for Impact: Women Supporting Women

We are excited to feature Heidi Careaga as one of our dynamic breakout session leaders at the RESTORED Women’s Conference.

Her session, Restored for Impact: Women Supporting Women, is an interactive, heart‑opening conversation about the power of sisterhood, mentorship, encouragement, and faith‑centered relationships. Participants will be encouraged to:
• Build authentic, grace‑filled connections

• Embrace mentorship and encouragement

• Recognize how God works through women to bring healing

• Become agents of restoration in their families, churches, workplaces, and communities.
