I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, and my passion for dogs started when I was just 11 years old. My first job was as a veterinary assistant, which gave me invaluable experience, and later I became a professional dog groomer—a career I’ve enjoyed for over 30 years. For 22 years, I raised and bred Golden Retrievers, a breed I absolutely adored and that was perfect for our family during those years. Now that my husband, John, and I are getting older, we wanted a smaller family pet—something more of a lap dog but with a big personality. That’s when I fell in love with Yorkies. I’d always admired them as a groomer, and they’ve truly exceeded our expectations with their fun, feisty spirits and big-dog personalities in little bodies. John, my husband, has also been passionate about animals his whole life. He’s raised and shown pigeons since he was a young boy and has passed this tradition on to our daughters, who now raise and show pigeons themselves. Together, we share a deep love for animals and are dedicated to raising our Yorkies as beloved family pets while ensuring they meet AKC standards. For us, quality breeding and the well-being of our dogs are of the utmost importance. We’re thrilled to share the joy of Yorkies with other families who love them as much as we do.

Check out this little guy. He's looking to be about 3 and a 1/2lbs When he gets to his adult weight, he is adorable. He is what we consider a dark traditional Parti Yorkie. He's just stunning with his shining black coat.

67° outside this morning, so we KNOW Missy isn’t licking the glass because she’s hot. 😂

She’s been doing this all year, and I think we all know the real reason…

She has trained me. 🤦‍♀️😂

When Missy is ready to come in, she climbs up on Izzy, starts licking the glass, and waits. And yes…it works. Every. Single. Time. 🤣🐾

At this point, I’m not sure who owns who around here. ❤️

🐾💦 The Great Puppy Escape! 💦🐾

There’s nothing quite like watching babies discover that there’s a whole big world outside their puppy area! 😂 That first little “escape” is full of curiosity, confidence, and a whole lot of exploring.

And just before I started this video, puppy's mama and I had been playing in the water hose together—so you can imagine the excitement! 💦🥰 Wet paws, happy babies, and new adventures…this is such a fun stage to watch.

These little moments are also such an important part of raising puppies—letting them safely experience new sights, sounds, textures, water, and plenty of interaction as they grow. ❤️

This is the part of breeding you don’t always see. 🐾❤️

Being a breeder isn’t just about adorable puppy pictures. It’s cleaning, changing bedding, checking on everyone, keeping their spaces comfortable, giving lots of individual attention, and making sure moms and babies have everything they need.

There’s a lot of work that happens behind the scenes every single day—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🥰

These little ones are raised right here in our home, surrounded by everyday sights, sounds, love, and plenty of hands-on care. This is what a normal day at Parti Yorkies of the Grove looks like. ❤️🐶

UPDATE little Blaze found his forever home . ✨ Meet little Blaise ✨

Some little ones just have a way of making you stop scrolling… and Blaise is definitely one of them. 🥹🐾

At 7½ weeks old, this tiny black-and-white boy is already stealing hearts. He’s charting to be around 4 pounds grown, so there’s a whole lot of sweetness packed into one very little Yorkie. ❤️

Blaise is the one from this litter still waiting for that special someone to say, “That’s my baby.” 🏡💕 He still has plenty of growing, learning, cuddling, and socializing to do here with us before his big go-home day.

🔥 Little Blaze is 7½ weeks old, and he thinks he’s one of the BIG dogs already! 😂🐾

This tiny black-and-white Parti boy is busy learning how to be part of the pack—exploring, interacting with the other dogs, and soaking up all those everyday experiences that help build a confident, well-socialized puppy. ❤️

Blaze is charting to be around 4 pounds full grown, but somebody forgot to tell him he’s tiny. 😂 He has places to go, dogs to meet, and apparently a whole house to supervise!

Sometimes the littlest ones have the BIGGEST presence. 🥰🔥
