So let me tell yall about our experience at AJ's Grayton Beach. First the atmosphere was nice and it didn't take us long to be seated.

Then we waited 15 minutes to be waited on due to "a miscommunication". We ordered our drinks, appetizers and entrée at the same time. We got our drinks pretty quick and our apps came out a little while later. We then realized we never received any silverware or napkins.

Soon after the apps, the entrée came out staggered. The 2 kids in our party got their food and I got my burger first, I was about halfway through my burger when 2 others in our party got their food but my wife didn't get hers. The waiter didn't even notice we were missing food. When he came back to the table we asked him about my wife's sliders so we left to check on them. He came and said "the kitchen didn't see it on the ticket". The waiter did offer a free shrimp or fish basket to eat while she waited on her sliders. She wasn't interested. I was basically done before my wife got her sliders.

Most cases, a good wait staff will notice and empty glass and bring a refill but had to ask every single time for more to drink.

Normally im pretty flexible and dont really post my bad experiences but...

Our waiter was not up to par but since we had a party of 6, a 20% gratuity was added and he received a $45+ tip(from two tickets) while he gave a $10 service.

Not saying I'll never back but if I do go it will be because I'm outvoted when deciding where to eat.
