6 years ago today, I grappled about the future of my business. Sales were slow and we were on the brink of a national lockdown.

The goal was to say, “We are closing,” but my spirit couldn’t utter those words. Instead, I chose the word “Pause!”

Had I not “paused” (and prayed) I would have missed out on my blessings.

This is a constant reminder that maybe all we need is a moment to pause, reflect and realign (or pivot).

It’s okay to “pause,” but just don’t throw in the towel!

This week I received an unexpected honor: being named 2025 Career Launch Facilitator of the Year. 💜

I’m truly grateful and still taking it all in.

Most of all, I’m thankful for my students. They inspire me every day.
