My aunt offered me a spot on a Disneyland Paris trip after one of her friends dropped out โ on the condition that I covered his share. I didnโt hesitate. Going to Disneyland had always been a childhood dream of mine! What she failed to mention was that Iโd essentially be her unpaid assistant the entire time โ no breaks, no fun, just non-stop helping with her kids. On the last day, one of the twins wanted to ride the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, and I was excited too. My aunt said, โGo ahead, Iโll stay here with the bags.โ So I handed over everything โ my phone, ID, wallet โ and joined the line. Ten minutes later, she vanished. We searched for hours. No food, no money, no phone. Just me and a ten-year-old stuck in the Lost Children center. That was our only day at the park, and we wasted most of it looking for her. Eventually, I called my dad. He booked us a hotel because without ID, we couldnโt board the train home. When we got to the hotel, the receptionist handed me a note: "GONE TO DINNER. SEE YOU ON THE TRAIN. โ AUNT MARIE." I was furious. We barely made it to the train the next morning. As soon as we sat down, she looked at me all innocent and said: "Why are you upset? I left a note. I even brought you dinner!" She handed meโฆ a cold, squashed bread roll. No apology. No reasoning. Just that. But did I let it slide? Absolutely not. A family trip was coming up โ and I knew exactly how Iโd get my revenge. โฌ๏ธ Full story in 1st comment ๐
