November 25th, 2022 in the Ocean 98.1 studio for a LIVE LIXX show with Pressing Strings. Around this time of year, one of the characteristic parts of the show from the production end was the transition from day-to-night over the span of about three hours from, say, 4:30ish when we'd arrive until about 7:00; the sun sets earlier starting in October. It added an interesting dynamic to the show because this studio in particular had many windows for natural lighting, and when it got dark the lighting systems were emphasized, and the glare from the instruments created some cool visuals.

Tom Petty was another one of my early concert experiences. The Outside Lands festival: August 8th-10th, 2014 at Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA. I remember Mark and I watching the Arctic Monkey's set at another stage (which coincided with Tom Petty for about 90% of the time), so we didn't see too much of it, but I remember catching a few of their encore numbers including American Girl. I was 13. 🌊🌱🎊
