The Quiksilver Pro Puerto Escondido is ON. Contest Director Gary Linden ran a few heats this morning and put the event on hold until the evening glass off.
Eziekel Lau recent winner of the event in EL Slavador was the morning's stand out scoring a 17!

The Quiksilver Pro Puerto Escondido is set to start tomorrow!
Gary Linden is the Contest Director, he will be making the call on when to run the event adn insuring everything runs smooth!
Linden team rider Angelo Angelo J. Lozano Corzo won the event a few years ago and always made the finals since. He will be back this year to regain the title!

Gary Linden is back today from directing the Quiksilver Copa El Salvador.
The event was awesome and went down great with Eziekel Lau taking the win.
Gary made the rights calls and had time to enjoy doing some announcing and surfing! Being the Contest Director requires to have a good "feel" for the spot, so surfing is definitely part of the job description!
Gary took out is 6'1 Boulevard quad for Punta Roca waited outside for the bombs.

While some pros are ripping a fun right hander in El Salvador for the Copa Quiksilver El Salvador (Directed by Gary Linden), others are chasing big swells down in Chile and Peru, like Linden's rider Andres Flores here in Chile (picture thanks to Olegario Figuero).
