🐠 would you let these little fish nibble on your feet?

This was one of the funniest stops on our Greece trip- Lake Vouliagmeni, just outside of Athens, Greece.

The tiny fish 🐠 immediately went to work, Patti‘s first reaction was “what are they eating? 😂I just had a pedicure. 💅

Then a local gentleman joked that the fish liked him better because he was “local food“ my reply? “Well I guess I’m foreign food”

Did you know they put fries in Gyros 🥙 in Greece?! This one was in the beautiful island of Skiathos 🇬🇷📍It was a great stop last year! Love the town, the harbor, the tavernas. Prices 💶weren’t bad either.

Fun Fact 1: Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel spend time in Skiathos every summer!

Fun Fact 2: Also Mamma Mia was filmed there and nearby Skopelos Island.

We stumbled into a little fishing village in Knox house the town of Apollonas on the northern tip of Naxos Island. I honestly could’ve wondered around here for hours. Sometimes my favorite travel memories aren’t the famous landmarks-they’re the places I never planned to fall in love with. 💙🇬🇷

Don't Do Athens First! 🇬🇷✈️
Have you ever wondered whether you should spend time in Athens at the beginning or end of your Greece trip?

After traveling to Greece multiple times, here's the strategy I always recommend.

✈️ Fly to your island first if possible, then save Athens for the end of your trip. It gives you more flexibility, reduces stress if there are flight delays, and lets you enjoy the city before heading home.

It's one of those simple travel tips that can make your entire vacation smoother!
