A huge THANK YOU to everyone who shared our message that we needed youth actors for our Christmas program. I believe it was meant to be and today our wish was granted. We can now put on the show with a full cast. Some will have duo roles but that is ok. They are excited and up to the task.
Now mark your calendar for the weekend of Dec 13 & 14 for The Shiniest Star Christmas Pageant presented by Machickanee Players at 2pm. Free to the public. See you all there! More info to come!

MICHAEL J THORSON (DOB 09/02/1987)

🚨 WANTED: ARMED & DANGEROUS 🚨

The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office is actively seeking Michael Thorson, who currently has a felony probation warrant and is wanted in connection with multiple recent vehicle thefts and burglaries across Shawano and Marathon Counties.

Thorson is known to frequent areas in western Shawano County and eastern Marathon County. A stolen vehicle believed to be operated by Thorson was recovered yesterday afternoon in the Stockbridge-Munsee area, but despite extensive efforts, law enforcement was unable to locate him.

⚠️ Thorson is also linked to burglaries involving fi****ms and is considered armed and dangerous.

📞 We were informed by a witness that Thorson is now clean shaven and also has a shaved head. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, please do not approach him. Instead, immediately contact the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office at 715-526-3111 or your local law enforcement agency.

Your help is greatly appreciated as we work to bring this individual into custody safely.
