Friday Night into Saturday morning over this past weekend I was tracking severe weather live on youtube for Central Texas. I noticed 5-10 minutes before a tornado warning was issued that there was strong rotation. Then 10 minutes later I said we have a tornado on the ground. Without it being confirmed by NWS, I was correct.

🚨 Flash Flood Outlook ahead for Saturday–Sunday 🚨
Heavy Rainfall Threat Across Texas & Oklahoma
Here's the latest from the Storm Weather Team:
🟡 A Level 2 out of 4 flood risk has been issued for a large portion of Texas and Oklahoma this weekend.
📍 This includes cities like Dallas, Austin, San Angelo, Midland, Lubbock, OKC, and Tulsa.

🗓️ Saturday:
A broad area is under risk, with widespread 2–4" rainfall totals expected. Localized higher amounts could result in flash flooding, especially in poor drainage areas and low-lying spots.
🗓️ Sunday:
The flood risk becomes more focused from Central Texas into Eastern Oklahoma. Areas from Austin to Tulsa will need to stay especially alert for training storms that could dump rain in a short period.

⚠️ Weather Impacts:
Rapid rises on creeks, streams, and rivers

Urban and street flooding in major metros
Potential for flash flood warnings through the weekend

âś… What You Should Do:

Stay weather aware and have multiple ways to receive warnings
Avoid driving across flooded roadways — turn around, don’t drown!
Monitor your local NWS office and stay tuned to Storm for live updates.
