all the breeders on my page !!! this is for my little brother!! 💚💚
My son’s FFA chapter is sending its chapter officers to the National FFA Convention in October. Collectively, they need to raise more than $20,000, and each officer has been tasked with raising $2,000. That is my son’s personal fundraising goal. I know how much this community loves agriculture and FFA, and I’m praying there’s some interest in helping us with this! 💚
I’m looking for breeders who would be willing to provide one dozen hatching eggs to be auctioned on my farm page, Hathaway Homestead. I also want participating breeders to get something out of this! Instead of asking breeders to completely donate the value of their eggs, the breeder will receive 25% of the final auction price, and the remaining 75% will go toward the FFA fundraiser.
Shipping will also be covered by the host. The breeder will purchase the shipping postage as they normally would and, once the label is purchased, simply send the host proof of the actual postage cost. The host will reimburse the breeder for the full postage amount, so the breeder is not responsible for the cost of shipping. For example, if your dozen auctions for $200, you receive $50, $150 goes to the FFA fundraiser, and your actual postage cost is reimbursed separately (by me). 💚
Each breeder’s farm, breeding stock, and upcoming auction will be promoted on my page for 24 hours before the auction begins. Each auction will begin at 7:00 a.m. and run for 24 hours, closing at 7:00 a.m. the following day.
I plan to host auctions through October 1.
If you would like to participate, I’ll need photos of your parent stock and/or eggs, information about the breeding pen and possible offspring, and any other information you’d like included when I feature your farm.
My hope is that this is beneficial for everyone involved. The breeder receives 25% of what their eggs bring, full reimbursement for postage, and some additional exposure, the winner gets a beautiful dozen of hatching eggs, and 75% of the auction proceeds directly supports the FFA fundraiser. 💚💛

If you are in Arizona and would like information regarding the state tax credit, please let me know and I can get that information to you. I can also provide individual donation receipts when I turn the funds over to the school/chapter. If you would like one, please let me know in advance so I can make sure the correct amount is documented with your information.
