Hey guys, I just gotta stop for a minute to brag about this young man. Sometime back in February, I met Markis Houston at the Tour Rodeo in Hollywood during the morning kids rodeo. With some small talk, he shared with me his interest in learning how to announce. So, between events and kids getting ready, I took the time to walk him through what our job consisted of, and by the end of the night, he had an opportunity to show what he's capable of. I knew this kid from Pembroke Pines, Florida, has a gift for public speaking that most 18-year-olds don't have today. I tip my hat off to him for being bold and taking a step like that. Fast forward to September, Markis is attending Livingstone College in North Carolina with dreams of becoming a preacher. Tonight, I was able to watch a livestream of his first college volleyball game, calling the shots on his own, and he handled it like he's been working at it for years. I just wanted to say I'm proud of ya and proud for ya! Keep up the good work. No matter how busy you are in the moment, always make time to talk to people; you never know whose life can change. Wewahitchka, FL, certainly made its presence felt at the Gulf County Labor Day Rodeo! Brought to you by A-C Ranch Performance Horses and Bo Campbell Rodeo Productions. Despite inclement weather, these dedicated fans braved the rain, demonstrating the town's hunger for rodeo. It was a privilege to serve as the voice of the first rodeo in 12 years. Y'all stay safe on the road✌🏽

Well friends the 2025 All Florida Junior State Finals Rodeo has come to a close fast times have been clocked in & memories have been made congrats to all of the year end champions! Huge shout out to my 10 year old sound man Bryson I couldn’t be anymore prouder than the hard work you put keeping everyone entertained! 😅 I’m gonna have to give him a raise!

Getting ready for another weekend at the Okeechobee County Agri-Civic Center & Fairgrounds with the All Florida Junior Rodeo state Finals, thanks to our friends at the Okeechobee County Tourist Development Council for supporting this year's Rodeo. Back-to-back weekends in my hometown arena; it is nice staying close to the house for a change! Hope to see y'all there!
