#DeliveringC2Dominance #StayHealthyStayReady When the 605th Test and Evaluation Squadron (TES), Detachment 1, at Tinker Air Force Base, couldn’t get a face mask order to arrive within weeks, MSgt Cory Otteson and MSgt Gina Hubregtse researched, then created a pattern, and together sewed enough masks for the entire Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) Combined Test Force. The 605 TES, Det.1 is one of two detachments in the Combined Test Force (CTF), and they took care of our Air Force Material Command (AFMC) partners as well. Det 1 Airmen are already sewing a second batch so everyone can have two masks on hand. Lieutenant Colonel Scott Gregg, commander, 605 TES, Det. 1, notes, “As we execute AWACS integrated test and evaluation, even in the midst of COVID-19 restrictions, our highest priority has always been the safety of our people. When cloth masks were not going to be commercially available for up to two weeks, MSgts Otteson and Hubregtse stepped up to sew cloth masks for the entire AWACS Combined Test Force to ensure the ability of our team to safely conduct ground and flight operations while limiting the spread of COVID-19. I’m extremely proud of their innovative spirit that is keeping us protected, and on the job!” #ReadyAF #505CCW #605TESDet1 #InThisTogether Air Combat Command NewsOK KOKH FOX 25 News, Oklahoma News Radio 1000 KTOK All the things, local news for Northwest Oklahoma City Oklahoma City News.Net KOKH FOX 25 News, Oklahoma
