OK Supreme Court Declares Cigarette Cessation Fee as Unconstitutional | The McCarville Report

The McCarville Report's take on the Oklahoma Supreme Court's decision on the cigarette cessation fee. There's a link to read the decision in the story, too.

The Oklahoma Supreme Court declared Thursday the $1.50 cigarette cessation fee passed at the last minute by the Legislature as unconstitutional and could send the Legislature into a Special Session. The Court heard oral arguments on Tuesday of this week. Two other issues are still being decided.

Some folks have asked since I have joined KTOK, if I have left my other endeavors. NO! I'm still with The McCarville Report and Splurge magazine, however, I did have to leave OK Energy Today. I still encourage everyone to check out the best energy news in Oklahoma. It was great to be part of that organization.

I also still do some media consulting from time to time.

Oh...and don't forget the pawn shop. I'm still a clerk at the best little pawn shop in Del City.
