CNH Opinion: The Public Timeline Behind l Mitch Onyx vs. Killaman Jaro By

When the CNH Ringside Interview series returned, the goal was simple: give Oklahoma wrestling a platform to speak for itself.
Eleven days ago, the second interview in the series featured Mitch Onyx, the self-proclaimed Greatest Ever Made. During that conversation, Onyx spoke with the same confidence fans have come to expect, declaring that there are no rivals on his level, teasing “Onyx 500,” and making it clear that he sees himself as the standard in professional wrestling.
Today, the fourth interview in the series features Killaman Jaro, the Inevitable Shujaa. His interview carried a completely different tone—one centered on perseverance, growth, overcoming adversity, and proving himself every time he steps into the ring.
What makes this interesting is the timeline.
At the time Mitch’s interview was released, there was no publicly announced match between Mitch Onyx and Killaman Jaro. The interviews were conducted independently and were not designed to build a feud or promote a future match.
Then Empire Pro Wrestling announced the August 15 match. After that announcement, the public conversation took on a life of its own.
Killaman released a promo challenging Mitch to prove his greatness in the ring, drawing a sharp contrast between what he called an “artificial gem” and a “natural diamond.”
Mitch responded on social media in classic G.E.M. fashion, reminding fans of his accomplishments, his spotlight, and his belief that facing him is the biggest opportunity of Killaman’s young career.
That’s what makes this rivalry compelling.
Not because the interviews created the match.
But because the interviews now serve as a fascinating snapshot of where both competitors were mentally before they knew they would collide inside an EPW ring.
Looking back, fans can now see two completely different philosophies unfolding in real time:
* Mitch Onyx: greatness is declared.
* Killaman Jaro: greatness is earned.
The promos have been delivered.
The comments have been made.
The anticipation is growing.
And on August 15 at Empire Pro Wrestling’s “Injustice,” the conversation moves from podcasts and social media to the place where it matters most: the ring.
