Cincinnati Bengals star WR Ja’Marr Chase says the NFL fined him for his “People’s Elbow” touchdown celebration.

Chase explained that the gesture is inspired by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s famous wrestling move and questioned why it resulted in discipline from the league.

"This is where the superstars have to get in with the NFLPA and fight for our money. I’m getting fined for an elbow… It’s a wrestling move."

Chase also said that he does not fully understand what the league believes the gesture represents. He described the celebration as something he and his teammates came up with to be different and said the NFL is “just stopping the fun.”

A 215-pound black bear was hit and killed by a semi near McAlester this week.

Beau Wilkins shared this picture with me after coming across the bear along the Indian Nation Turnpike near Highway 69. He said he was taking his son to grab breakfast before school when they spotted it.

Oklahoma’s black bear population has been growing for more than 20 years and bears have been spotted around the McAlester area over the years. And this is a reminder they’re out there, even in places you may not expect to see them.
