Hurricane is an Extremely Dangerous Category 5 and is now moving ashore, in Jamaica. Catastrophic Winds, Flash Flooding, and Storm Surge Occurring On The Island. Please pray for everyone. This is pushing 185mph+ sustained winds, moving at only 9mph (which, luckily, it has sped up slightly) and is a true monster that sadly will most likely cause widespread destruction and even death.

​Major Hurricane Melissa has intensified to a Category 5 hurricane, packing maximum sustained winds of 140 kt (160 mph) and gusts up to 170 kt. The storm's core is currently centered 110 miles SSW of Kingston, Jamaica.

​Wednesday: Moves across the southeastern Bahamas.
