🚧 Reno & Mustang Road Update 🚧

Road work has moved to the northeast corner of Reno & Mustang Rd., where crews are working on the final new right-turn lane!

This project is funded through OKC’s Development Impact Fee Program, using fees paid by developers to help address the impact of growth.

Improvements include new right-turn lanes, updated traffic signals, pedestrian poles and radar vehicle detection.

This much-needed SWOKC improvement looks like it is getting closer to the finish line! 👏

Councilman Cooper referenced Melissa, TX, where he said a Buc-ee’s brought residential development to what was agricultural land. He stated that this could do the same, taking away agricultural land on the SW side of OKC and creating more demand for road and infrastructure improvements.

PUD-2105 and PUD-2124 (data centers I-40 & Frisco) have been continued to the Oct 27th OKC Council meeting. There have been 11 previous deferrals. Thoughts?

🚧 SW 29th Widening Update: Rockwell ➡️ MacArthur 🚧

It’s been about a month and a half since our last video update on the SW 29th widening project, and a lot has happened!

Since then, crews have:

• Removed the old roadway on the north side
• Excavated the area for the new roadway
• Started storm drain infrastructure, looks to be in progress now.

If you’ve driven through recently, the progress is hard to miss.

Sign this road crew up for the next one — they’re killing it! 👏 There’s still work ahead, but it’s great to see this much visible progress in such a short period of time.

We’ll keep watching and sharing what we see as the widening continues!
