I’ve wanted this album for such a long time, and I’ve come very close to buying it on Discogs for $100+. Thank god they reissued it for the 15th anniversary of the original release. Their 4th album, their first with William DuVall, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I love this album so much. My favorite thing about has always been , and this album did not disappoint. The whole house is rocking! Hopefully in 2028 they’ll reissue “They Devil Put Dinosaurs in There” so me and my record collection can be thoroughly happy…

Hey there! Remember when we had a show, and I’d post stuff all the time about the shows we were seeing and the albums we were listening to? God that seems so long ago. Seeing on Sunday with our awesome friends Pat & Carie made me miss all that. Just wanted to say hi, maybe we’ll see some of you at the show in Tacoma in October?

I feel like I use this pose every time I walk into a room and need to greet a bunch of people at once. I either stole it from Ozzy, or Mike Myers from “Wayne’s World”, or Jim Carrey from “The Cable Guy”. Either way, I look amazing doing it. Also amazing? “Changes” from this album.

Haven’t posted much lately. I’m alive and I’ve been listening to the on repeat. I’m not settled on my favorite album by them, but I’m convinced that “Swerve City” is my favorite song, and it kicks off this killer album. Looking forward to a new album from them this year!

Haven’t had a chance to listen to much vinyl this month, but I’m coming back with a killer one. Bought this pristine translucent red copy of the Silversun Pickups “Swoon” at back in January, but I left it at my kid’s place. Thankfully he brought it down to me and I’m finally giving it a spin. I wore this out, digitally, when it came out in 2009, sounds so much better on vinyl.

Making final preparations to head to Kauai tomorrow, and the are entertaining me while I pack. I always start off playing Side 2 of this album, “Battle Axe” is one of my underrated favorite songs. I love the moody & trippy elements of this album, I felt same way about ‘Ohms’, which is fitting as they had the same producer. Can’t wait for a new album from them coming later this year!
