You will start to love creating content by…

To build motivation and create lasting habits, start by pairing an activity you find challenging with something you genuinely enjoy. This approach turns the task into a positive experience and makes it easier to stick with over time. For example, if exercising feels like a chore, reward yourself with a favorite treat, a podcast, or a relaxing walk afterward. Over time, the enjoyable element will help “brand” the activity in your mind as something you look forward to. By deliberately creating these positive associations, you can transform tasks you once avoided into habits you love.

It’s always cool to see a wide variety of people and ages bring their Bibles and journals to church and actively take notes. We live in a digital era, but there is nothing quite like a physical Bible and Journal to aid in your listening.

Design and photo inspiration from my visit to Bethany Community Church in Seattle last weekend.

Always be creative in a variety of mediums.

If you’re just getting started with social media for your business, here’s the uncomfortable truth:

Most people quit way too soon.

They sprint for a week or two, posting every day, trying trends, burning energy and when the phone doesn’t instantly light up, they decide, “This doesn’t work,” and disappear.

The problem isn’t social media.
The problem is expectations.

Social media is not a sales machine you flip on for instant leads. It’s a branding tool and branding is a long, sometimes boring, definitely not-instant game.

Let’s talk about the right mindset, so you don’t burn out and then have to “start over” every few months.

Ended my trip to Montana with church at Easthaven, a church I attended for 3 years while I lived here.

They started an Advent series this week, and it’s different. It’s on the book of Ruth.

I have heard Ruth preached on numerous times, but one thing that stood out to me was at the end of Chapter 1 that I hadn’t noticed before.

Observations from the Book of Ruth: Advent 2025…

Advent doesn’t start in twinkling lights; it starts “in the days when the judges ruled.”

Darkness. Chaos. Everyone doing what seemed right to them.

Into that story walks Naomi: emptied by loss,
so bitter she wants to rename herself Mara.

She feels abandoned by God…
but she still calls Him YHWH

The covenant God who is merciful and steadfast in love.

Ruth 1 begins in famine and ends at the start of harvest.

God hasn’t fixed everything yet,
but a quiet hope is already growing in the fields of Bethlehem.

My Story

My name is Joshua Heath, I am 33 years old living in the Pacific Northwest. I started in graphic design editing digital maps for a local tech startup in Seattle and volunteering at my local church designing everything from event flyers, social media graphics, and short videos for youth events. I then started providing content marketing services to a local restoration company in Kalispell, Montana where I did everything from create a custom website using the Squarespace platform and creating custom content on a daily basis for platforms such as a company blog, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

I have a passion for telling stories about the why of the company and helping businesses connect on a human level with their customers. Finding the right content that provides value to the user in a unique way.

Let’s work together to tell your story together.
