Message from Jan Evans after his horrific accident in the "Summer Showdown". We are so happy Jan is home now, and like a true competitor, he is looking ahead to getting back behind the wheel!

"Happy to share that i’ve been discharged from the hospital — internal bleeding has stopped, no broken bones, just a concussion. this sport can knock you down, but it will never take away my love for racing or the fire to keep pushing forward. huge thank you to mike knutson for pulling me out of the car, riding with me in the ambulance, and staying by my side at the hospital, and to chris knutson, my spotter, for making sure they got to me and got me out while i was upside down with the car on fire. big thanks to my crew chief glenn knutson for giving me a bad fast piece — we were saving, just about ready to charge back to the front. it sucks i was on the outside going for a pass when it happened, but i hold no hard feelings — no drama, just a racing deal, and we move forward. to my crew and the friends who came to visit me in the hospital, you lifted my spirits more than you know. i’ll be back at it august 1-2 in missouri and august 6-9 in pennsylvania for the xtreme outlaw midget series races."
