One of my favorite kinds of places to find? The little local farm stands that most people drive right past. 👀

Omaha’s High Ground: A Healthy Market Garden is a family-run urban farm stand in west Omaha offering seasonal produce, farm eggs, honey, microgreens and more. 🥬🥚🍯

They focus on sustainable, local growing practices—and I love being able to support a small local family while knowing where my food is coming from. ❤️

Plant your garlic cloves in the fall, let them establish roots before winter, and they’ll come back in spring ready to grow.

A few simple tips:
🌱 Plant cloves pointy-side up
🌱 Give them well-draining soil + plenty of sun
🌱 Cover with a layer of mulch for winter protection
🌱 Harvest next summer when the lower leaves start turning brown

There’s something so satisfying about planting food now that you won’t harvest until next year. 🧄✨
