✌🏾 Peace Begins When the Hungry Are Fed
Big Mama’s favorite quote was, “Peace begins when the hungry are fed.”�That wasn’t just something she said — it’s how she lived her life. She used her gifts, her talents, and her love for cooking to feed people, body and soul.

In the shameful situation that the current administration has put so many of us in, we at Big Mama’s Kitchen & Catering are standing firm in her legacy and continuing to put those words into action.
Right now, many of our neighbors are struggling — and no one should go hungry.

�If you’re hungry, come eat. We will have a warm bowl of homemade soup and cornbread for anyone who needs it.�If you’ve been blessed, help feed a neighbor. Purchase a bowl of “Soup for the Soul” for someone else using the link below.

Thank you, Hy-Vee, for supporting our community!

From November 3–7, all Hy-Vee locations with hot food service will provide a free kids meal for children ages 12 and under from 4–7 p.m. each evening. The same meal will be available to all other guests for $3, offered for both dine-in and carryout.

❤️“We want to support the communities that support our stores, which is why we are doing everything we can to make sure no one goes hungry during these uncertain times,”
said Anna Stoermer, Executive Vice President, Chief Merchandising & Retail Officer, Hy-Vee, Inc.

In addition, over the coming weeks, Hy-Vee will share a variety of budget-friendly recipes on its social media channels — each designed to feed families for $3 or less per serving, featuring products from Hy-Vee’s weekly ads.
