When you’ve been in a deficit for a long time, your body adjusts output, recovery, and energy in ways that make continued fat loss harder, not easier.

That’s why pushing harder eventually backfires.

The solution isn’t always deeper restriction.

It’s knowing when to shift phases: fat loss → maintenance → muscle-building → back to fat loss

That’s how you build a body that actually responds.

Not one stuck in the same 20–30 lb cycle every year.

When you take messy action over waiting for the ‘perfect time’ this is what happens!

My client Alyssa came to me with an 8-week goal before her vacation.

Not a 6-month runway!
Not a “maybe when things calm down!
Just a clear decision: “I’m ready now.”

Today we are focused on leg exercises 💪🏻

• Hip Abduction → Lying Hip Abduction with Plate
• Leg Extensions → DB Front Squat
• Leg Curls → DB RDLs
• Smith Machine Sumo Squat → DB Sumo Squat

Add these into your next leg day for more variety in your movements, I suggest 3 sets of 10-12 reps

I always thought that the people who say🗣️

“I’ll start on Monday” or “New Year, New Me” were life’s biggest bluffers...

until I met the “I’ll start after the Holidays” people

(drops the mic and walks away🎤)

If there was such a ‘perfect’ time to RESET then it’s now.⁣

Yes, you have other stuff going on in your life.⁣

I get that.⁣

But, when was the last time that you didn’t?⁣

You’re ALWAYS going to have 💩 to deal with.⁣

But, the fact remains… managing your stress and anxieties becomes a whole lot easier when you’re looking after your health and fitness (which for many people are also their insecurities)
