Only goat breeders will understand running around after these animals going "Give me your butt!" With a pair a needle nose pliers. XD
DNA testing has gotta be done sometimes, and it's just easiest to pull the hairs from the rump. Luckily the goats don't care - all except for the catching part.

Goat update!!! I got to see everyone again. I've been here for the past week and a half helping out and around with not only my kiddos, but the other kids here at Flintrock Ridge Farm . It's been such a joy, and a well needed visit and break from everything else.
Everyone is doing great, and I'll share more photos over time! Mystra is growing well, and getting so so big. I swear, everytime I see her she's gone through a growth spurt.

Dropping in some animal pictures today! Finally starting to settle enough to get active again. So sorry to everyone for my absense!
I haven't posted my reptiles before, but fun fact: I own 12 of them!
These are my 3 leopard geckos, Adrian, Viktor, and Aziraphale. I eventually plan to do highlight posts for each of my herps so y'all can learn their stories! I absolutely adore them all

Updates coming soon, I promise! As well as a full review of our work/time at Crow Mountain Ranch, LLC and why our business with them ended. We've been quite busy with settling in our temporary location and are currently trying to find work and housing, so we've just had our hands quite full!

They're blurry cause of the excitement, but got to see a gorgeous Timber Rattlesnake on the road yesterday! Safetly moved him off with a large stick so he wouldn't get needlessly killed.
At my house, we practice that ALL snakes are GOOD snakes, and just as deserving of life as everything else. So he got to move on his way! Though he wasnt happy I was moving him, haha.

The dogs got a nice bath and groom yesterday thanks to my partner, Sylas!! He always does so well with them, and it's fun getting to be the one to bathe and dry them so he can finish them out. Haha. Beetle and Worm are looking fantastic!
We normally dont trim Worm up at all, but a little cleanup of his feathers can be nice with all the grass burrs.

Oh how I missed my kiddos! Lots of love given last night and this morning (as well as some apples because I HAD to give some treats). Giving them a day to love me before hoof trim time, haha.

It's crazy watching how fast Mystra grows. But equally fun, given how large of a breed she is compared to the Arapawas - who aren't a goat I would call a small breed! We are excited to see how big she is going to get, and further how the dynamic between her and the others will shift as she does! If only she had horns ;;
