🚨 UPDATE: Omaha Walmart Incident (72nd & Pine)

Police have confirmed that the suspect involved in the stabbing of a 3-year-old child is dead after officers responded and fired shots.

According to investigators:
• The suspect approached a caretaker with a knife and forced them outside.
• The child was in a shopping cart when the suspect cut him across the face and hand.
• Officers gave commands before taking action.

🙏 The child was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.

Police say:
• The suspect and the family did not know each other
• There is no ongoing threat to the public

This is still an active investigation.
