Growing up, Amara never imagined that the person who would hurt her most would be her own sister.
Anita always wanted everything Amara had.
If their mother bought Amara a new dress, Anita wanted a better one.
If someone praised Amara's beauty, Anita's mood immediately changed.
Even when Amara got her first good job, Anita couldn't bring herself to celebrate.
But Amara ignored all the signs.
After all, Anita was her little sister.
Then Amara met Daniel.
He was handsome, successful and completely in love with her.
After two beautiful years together, Daniel proposed.
Amara ran home excitedly and showed Anita the ring.
“We're getting married!”
Anita stared at the diamond for several seconds before forcing a smile.
“Wow… congratulations, sis.”
Amara hugged her.
She didn't notice Anita staring coldly at the ring behind her back.
Three weeks before the wedding, everything suddenly changed.
Daniel stopped visiting.
His calls became shorter.
Then one night, Amara received a message from him:
“I'm sorry. I can't marry you anymore.”
Amara called him again and again.
He refused to answer.
She collapsed in tears.
And surprisingly, Anita was the one who stayed beside her.
“Forget him,” Anita whispered while holding her sister. “Maybe he was never meant for you.”
Two days later, Amara decided she needed answers.
She went to Daniel's house.
His car was parked outside.
She knocked.
No response.
Then she noticed something beside the front door.
A pair of women's shoes.
Amara froze.
She knew those shoes.
She had bought them herself as a birthday present…
for Anita.
Then she heard her sister's laughter coming from inside Daniel's house.
Amara's hand began to tremble.
What was her sister doing inside her fiancé's house?
