EXCLUSIVE — Heavily redacted tax returns volunteered by the Tommy Tuberville campaign as proof of his residency inadvertently exposed the sitting U.S. senator’s tax history, income details and sensitive information.

The documents blacked out nearly all details other than names and filing status, but left intact a scannable barcode at the top corner of the forms. When scanned, that code renders the data from the entire tax return, from Social Security numbers, driver’s license information, wages, deductions, and investment earnings.

The City of Orange Beach City Council can vote RIGHT NOW to pass a police transparency ordinance — and we're calling on them to do it. A draft ordinance is attached as an example of what the ordinance could look like. The objective of the ordinance would be to grant the City Council the authority to release BWC footage when it is in the public interest, while preserving the ability not to disclose footage that would harm the victim or hinder an active investigation.

This ordinance would establish real oversight:
🔹 Mandatory body cam preservation, with longer retention when city officials are involved
🔹 A Council oversight committee with the legal authority to view recordings
🔹 A conflict-of-interest rule preventing any official under investigation from controlling footage of their own conduct
🔹 Subpoena power to compel records from OBPD

This isn't about politics. It's about a basic principle: public officials should be accountable to the public — not the other way around.

All it takes is 4 votes.

On June 2nd, the Orange Beach City Council has an opportunity to demonstrate transparency and restore public trust.

It is my understanding that the City Council has the authority to vote on whether to release the body camera footage related to the incident involving Tony Kennon at the Coastal Resources Center. If that is the case, I respectfully urge the Council to place the matter on the agenda and allow a public vote.

The issue is no longer about personalities or politics. It's about openness, accountability, and the public's right to know what occurred during an incident that has generated significant community interest and discussion.

If the City has nothing to hide, then there should be no concern about allowing the public to see the footage and draw its own conclusions. Transparency should not be feared—it should be embraced.

I encourage the members of the Orange Beach City Council to vote on June 2nd to release the body camera footage and let the facts speak for themselves.

The citizens of Orange Beach deserve transparency, not speculation.

That's it, the people have spoken! I pray the Lord grants our city's leadership the courage and integrity to choose right over wrong and the wisdom to know the difference.

Truth and transparency works both ways. I believe True Crime Mama, she has a stellar reputation for doing her research. I have no reason not to believe the other allegations, but do believe in sharing the truth.
