Did you know the U.S. printed money designed to be worthless?
With the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor coming up this Sunday, I’m taking a look back at a fascinating piece of WWII history: The Hawaii Overprint Note.
The government issued these emergency brown seal notes with a specific plan—if the islands were ever invaded, they could instantly declare this cash "null and void" so the enemy couldn't use it.
In this video, I’m showing off a major upgrade to my collection, discussing the history, and paying respects to those we lost in 1941.
