Look at these little powerhouses go! 🌱
On the left—popcorn microgreens shooting up tall and proud. On the right—broccoli microgreens, packing all that flavor and nutrition into tiny leaves. I can’t get over how fast they’re growing under the lights! This stage is always my favorite… watching them transform from seed to vibrant green in just days.

Which side do you think I’ll harvest first? 🌽🥦

When w**ding, the best way to make sure you are removing a w**d and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

This journey started back in July 2023… and wow, what a ride it’s been. There have been plenty of ups and downs, and yes, a few times I “quit” along the way. But I’m still here—still sharing my story, still growing right alongside this homestead.

If even one veteran who’s struggling with their demons sees my posts and realizes they’re not alone… then it’s all worth it. 💚

I found healing in homesteading, and I truly believe you can too. Whether it’s planting a seed, tending to animals, or just watching the seasons change—it’s a reminder that life can grow beautiful again. 🌱

Thank you for being here, for supporting me, and for believing in the mission. Here’s to the next chapter! 🙌

These beauties are my hibiscus plants! 🌿 I’m growing two different varieties this year—St. Kitts Roselle Hibiscus and a rare White Roselle Hibiscus that I started from seeds I’ve saved over the years.

The white roselle has a special story—those seeds were originally given to me by a friend in Florida, and I’ve been keeping them going ever since. Both varieties will be harvested later in the season, then dried and used to make delicious, tangy hibiscus tea. 🍵

It’s amazing to watch them thrive and know they’ll soon become something I can enjoy and share.
