IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO SECURE HOLIDAY PARTNERSHIPS!!🎅💰

If you’ve been here for while you know- I always say to start thinking about Holiday campaigns in July & August.

BUT just because I say to start early?
Doesn’t mean it’s TOO LATE now!!

As you know, the holidays are when creators make the most money working with brands….

I’ve been on both the influencer and brand side when it comes to campaign budgets. And many brands (not all of them) but most have a “USE IT OR LOSE IT” policy when it comes to budgets.

What does that mean?

🗓️ Most brands have a fiscal year that ends in December. They have a set budget for the year and oftentimes have that leftover marketing money that doesn’t roll over into January.

So that means they have to USE that leftover budget or they LOSE IT!!

And what a waste would it be for the brands marketing department not to use every last penny of their budget?!

With increased consumer spending and bigger budgets- brands are also more likely to activate LAST MINUTE campaigns!! ⏰

🎁 What’s going to help you get these last minute campaigns? Here are a few tips:

✨ Get creative with your pitches! Pitch a specific idea/concept for a partnership!

✨ Easy integrations: Planning a holiday gift guide? Doing a 12 days of Christmas giveaway? Maybe you have a signature series? Pitch brands into these future pieces of content!

✨ If you have past holiday hits? Hyperlink them in your pitches!

✨ Negotiate Rush Fees: Be prepared to charge extra for quick turnaround times during the busy holiday season.

✨ ALWAYS upsell Whitelisting to the brand as an add-on to maximize your reach: since you’re gonna be competing with tons of ads during Q4!! Again, brands have bigger budgets to increase ad spend. (Explain to them how this helps convert more sales!)

Okay, I am a BIT concerned!! 😂😅

Here’s the thing: Trial Reels didn’t stop working…

Most creators just stopped learning how to use them right.

Yep, IG recently capped how many you can post (5–10/day, depending on your account).

And nope, you can’t just repost the exact same reel over and over again.

But let’s do some quick math:

👉🏼 5 Trial Reels/day = 150 chances a month to go viral
👉🏼 10/day = 300 opportunities to grow your audience

And you’re still not using them?! 😳

Most creators aren’t seeing growth because they’re posting the wrong content.

Here’s one gem that actually works:

📣 Treat your Trial Reels like “mini ads” for your page.

Since Trial Reels are only pushed to non-followers, use them to promote your page.

Start hyping up your content like it’s the best-kept secret on the internet.

You’re essentially selling yourself to your future audience!! Tell them exactly what you post and why they should follow you!

Example script (for the mom-hacks niche):

“Kids won’t listen? Routines feel impossible? I make real-life mom hacks that work. Follow me if you’re done with the chaos.”

One of my students gained 9K followers using this exact formula. No fluff. Just strategy.

It’s crucial to end with: “Follow me for [your topic].”

This way, you’re not just telling the algorithm who you are and what you post. You’re sending out a wolf call to your dream audience!

I mean, Reels without filming? Say less!!

This new Instagram Collage Feature turns your photos into high-impact reels in seconds!!!

HOW TO USE IT: ⬇️

👉🏼 Go to your Home Feed on IG
👉🏼 Press the “+” )in the upper right corner)
👉🏼 Tap Stories
👉🏼 Select Collage option (up at the top menu)
👉🏼 Select up to 20 photos
👉🏼 Click next (press arrow)
👉🏼 Let AI do its thing!!
👉🏼 Select the scissor icon (or you can choose to have a sequential collage of images)

You can rearrange, resize, reorder or remove any images before saving…so the final result is ✨ aesthetic ✨.

👉🏼 Then open it up in the Edits app
👉🏼 Add filters, edit speed, etc.
👉🏼 Save the reel.
👉🏼 Open the reel in Instagram Reels Editor.
👉🏼 Add music, text on screen, stickers, etc.
👉🏼 Add your caption.
👉🏼 Hit Post and flex your Reels game using Collages!!

They still work…but ONLY with the right strategy.

I’ve tested these 5 hooks across 14+ creator client accounts. They ACTUALLY WORK!!

How I helped my client turn a $600 brand deal into $4,300: One secret!👇

Negotiation magic 💪✨(2 words that make a big difference)

Many creators miss out on potential earnings because they don’t negotiate or don’t know how to do it right.

💰Here’s how we turned a lowball offer into a major win:

👉🏼 Original Offer: $600 for 1 IG Reel

⬇️ Our Moves:

1️⃣ The rate was too low. So, we aimed higher for the deliverable itself…(keeping the base rate at $600)

2️⃣ Content Usage: We asked how they planned to use the content and negotiated 60 days of whitelisting to give the ad an “authentic” touch. Adding on $1,200!! 💰😍

3️⃣ Exclusivity Clause: The contract included 4 weeks of exclusivity after the reel was posted. We identified this and requested an additional payment of $800!

FINAL DEAL: $2,800 for the reel, whitelisting, and exclusivity. 🎉

And the cherry on top? 🍒

After the campaign, we sent a Post Campaign Performance Report and a thank you note with a Starbucks gift card! 🥰 3 weeks later, we locked in another $1,500 with the same brand!

HERE’S WHAT’S CHANGED:

1. DMs are now the #1 driver of growth:

More content is shared via DMs than the feed.
Your content has to be DM-worthy or it’s invisible.

🔥 Make your content so relevant it begs to be forwarded.

Pro tip: Use DM automation to boost story views + drive conversions.

👀 And don’t sleep on engagement—watch stories, reply to them, and have real convos. IG rewards that too.

2. Reels + recommendations = top priority:

IG is learning what people want FASTER.
If you’re not posting within a clear niche (3–4 pillars), you won’t get pushed.

3. Trial reels got capped:

→ You can only post 5–10/day (varies per account)
→ Duplicates = downranked
→ Minor changes = not enough
To count as “original,” you need real variation (visuals, hooks, edits).

4. Users can now customize the algorithm:

People can tell IG what they do and don’t want to see.
If your content doesn’t clearly match a niche or category, you’ll get skipped.

Swipe left on your home feed → straight to Reels.
