Set times just announced! Come see one of our very own Ticket Booth DJs rocking with some of the best in the bay and beyond. D2 Denise Martin up on the decks at 5pm! And please give Anthony James some birthday ❤️ He has a whole handfull of 3 for 1 drink tickets (thats 3 drinks for 1 ticket!! Now thats a lot of drinks) that he earned playing on the ticket booth. He has plenty to share with you. He’s cool with it, just ask.

Next up in our Meet the DJ series, we have D2, resident TicketBooth DJ. We asked D2, Denise Martin to share her best moment on the playa so far and here's what she had to say.

There are many but one that really sticks out is 2024’s burn. The Red Hot Beverly - The Fire "Extinguisher" had some technical difficulties and couldn’t make it out to support their homie’s art piece so we offered to bring the TicketBooth to them. Little did we know that this would be the start of something truly special. Ed and I rolled up to meet Dulce and Rachel who would lead us to the Love Shines Down art piece where Exoendo dropped a face melting set. Dulce introduced Ed and I to the entire squad and let me just say trying to remember one name late night on the playa is hard, try meeting the full crew at once!

We had to bring the TicketBooth back to The Office to entertain our thirsty patrons so we invited our new friends to come back with us. On the drive over, I opened the back door of the TicketBooth and told Ed to take a look; 20+ bikes following us (looked like a scene from E.T.) to The Office where we opened the decks up to the Red Hot Bev crew and holy s**t what a treat. We were all like kindergarteners after our first day of school meeting a new friend. One person was more giddy than the next and we dropped dirty breaks until the sun came up.

For those who don’t know The Red Hot Bev, it is the only art car I ever look for on the playa. They bring the nastiest breaks all the time. We’ve had several nights riding our bikes next to them just listening to music and stopping to dance when they stopped.

We all came home and found one another on socials and became fast friends doing parties, boarding, watching basketball and then some. While there are many amazing moments of music and art on the playa, my favorite is always connection and this was the start of a lifelong friendship with an army of great people. For that reason alone, this stands as my favorite playa moment…so far!

We’re getting The Booth ready and looking forward to seeing all you people at the fund raising shindig in a few weeks.

Its been non stop here trying to get things ready and done for the summer. Even had a good shop night with the kids friday!
But mostly we’re excited to stop welding (repairs are done and the new better than ever “drop it like its hot” suspensions finally in) and get back the music. That fun, bouncy bass, breaks, with a little hip hop thrown in, is calling our names. Summer vibes are here. Cant wait to take The Ticket Booth for a spin and a renegde party or two.

Lets go!

Btw- I heard sweatshirts are running low. Get em while you can.

Meet The DJ: Eva
Eva Bunnie has melted all of our faces at one point. Her approach may seem effortless, but it's backed by incredible skill and talent; a nonchalant masterclass. We can’t wait to have her ripping it on the TicketBooth!

What’s your all time favorite Burning Man moment?
SELFISH:
It was nearly 20 years ago, when a dear friend (who knew this city girl dependent on running water and flushing toilets had no interest in going to burning man) gave me a ticket, a camp, a bike, and no good reason left to not go. The minute I arrived, Burning Man immediately and irreversibly changed my life. My friend, by gifting me the opportunity to be changed, changed my life.

SELFLESS:
In 2022 our camp and art car, Red Hot Beverly, brought our campmate’s art project to burning man. You may have seen this piece of art that we all now help maintain. It’s a giant sign in yellow letters that sits atop a building at the 580/80 bridge-bound freeway intersection in Oakland. We attached it to our art car and our campmate, the artist himself, drove to meet up with and support the Black Asé installation, created by one of the members of the black burner project. We drove to the back of the packed crowd and blew our 30 foot flame off the top of the car to reveal ourselves, our allyship and the message:

BLACK LIVES MATTER

What’s the wildest or most unexpected thing that ever happened during one of your sets?
Probably the time a couple in the front row climbed atop the vibrating wall of subs and got busy right there in front of me on the decks! It was beautiful, celebratory chaos.

With a big fat fundraising day party right around the corner (with a crazy good back to back line up, in a dope Bay Area outdoor spot, you should come, just say’n) we are now in hurry up mode to get the ticket booths suspension finished so we can get it off the trailer.

We finished the rear, added more compressors and tidied up some electical to handle y
the new front end.
So here we go again. See ya leaf springs and air bags. We cut you right the F’out and will start the triangulated suspenion build and new bag install tomorrow. Lots of fab work to be done this week to get the suspension to travel in such a tight space correctly.

Meet the DJ!

Catch Fraktured SF's own Anthony James dropping some sick breaks on the Ticketbooth at our June 7th fundraiser!

AJ has great energy, is super fun to hang with and will absolutely make you shake that ass; we are stoked to have him on board.

We asked AJ his all-time favorite Burning Man moment. Though a man of few words, he chose them perfectly.
