I was really just trying to share some of my recent revelations about men and how they all basically seem to want the same thing, even if they swear they don’t. I didn’t think anyone else was even paying attention to my conversation in the first place. Next thing I know, some guy chimes in like he’s been listening the whole time. His response didn’t even make sense either, like that’s not even what I meant by “disgusting.” At that point I’m just sitting there wondering how we got so off track from what I was actually trying to say.

Moms really have this funny belief that our sense of privacy just doesn’t exist once they’ve raised us, like walking in unannounced is still completely acceptable no matter our age. It’s like they think the “I gave birth to you” card permanently overrides knocking on a door. You could be in the middle of anything, and somehow they still feel fully entitled to just barge right in like it’s no big deal. And sure, we get it, they’ve seen us at our worst growing up—but that doesn’t mean we want that energy carried into adulthood. At some point, a little warning or a simple knock would go a long way in saving everyone from an awkward moment.

I always like to keep pictures of her in my wallet because they’re honestly some of the best motivation I’ve got. Not for the reason you’d expect either, it’s not like I’m staring at them thinking about how perfect everything is. If anything, I’m reminded of just how insane she can be and how much patience it actually takes to deal with her. And weirdly enough, that flips a switch in my brain like, if I can handle that, I can handle literally anything else life throws at me. It might not be the most romantic reasoning, but hey, motivation is motivation at the end of the day.

I could not be happier that sundress season is in full swing—it’s easily the best time of the year. There’s just something about throwing on a cute dress and pairing it with boots that makes everything feel effortless and put together. At this point, I’m fully accepting that all of my money is going toward new dresses and the cutest cowboy boots I can find. Now I need to know… what’s your favorite brand of cowboy boots?

To be honest, I’m not too picky most of the time

The worst part about cleaning your entire house is actually having to use it afterwards. Like I’ll deep clean my kitchen, everything spotless, and then the second I go to cook or eat, I feel like I’m ruining everything. I swear I turn into the most paranoid person, trying not to touch anything or make a single mess. Even setting a fork down feels illegal at that point, like I just committed a crime against my own hard work. There’s no way I’m letting a dirty fork touch a clean counter—I refuse to undo all that progress. It’s like you either enjoy a clean house or actually live in it… but somehow doing both feels impossible.

Some men truly don’t seem to know what it means to look for a good woman these days. Someone who’s thoughtful, shows up for you, and actually puts effort into the relationship—not just when it’s convenient. It’s not even about perfection, it’s about consistency and care in the little things that add up over time. A lot of people expect everything to be handed to them without giving that same energy back, and that’s where things fall apart. If you’re thinking about settling down and building a life with someone, it makes sense to value qualities like reliability, effort, and genuine support. At the end of the day, it’s about finding someone who’s aligned with you and actually wants to build something real together.

I can’t believe anyone would leave a girl out like this in the middle of the woods with no jacket or anything. It’s honestly kind of wild—like how do you just forget someone out here like that? She looked cold and a little lost, and I couldn’t just ignore it even if I wanted to. So yeah, I figured I’d go over and check on her, make sure she’s okay and not freezing. Not gonna lie though, it might be the perfect excuse to finally talk to her… she’s actually really cute. Guess sometimes the most unexpected situations turn into the best chances to meet someone.

I thought this was an airport terminal not a dressing room…

It truly experienced like no other, it honestly probably changed me as a person. And what I learned… Was that it truly is easier for men.
