Sizzla Kalonji (born Miguel Orlando Collins) is a prominent and highly prolific Jamaican reggae and dancehall musician known for leading a movement toward the re-embracement of Rastafarian values in contemporary reggae music. His music is concerned primarily with spirituality, social consciousness, resistance against oppression, and abiding faith in Jah (God). He has released over 80 albums, with some of his most popular being Black Woman & Child, Da Real Thing, and Praise Ye Jah. Notable tracks include "Solid As a Rock," "Just One of Those Days," "Thank U Mama," and "Give Me a Try". Sizzla is one of the most commercially and critically successful contemporary reggae artists. He is known for his "blistering musical approach" and has been an influential figure, building his audience with culturally oriented material from the start, unlike some of his contemporaries who initially used "lyrical slackness".
He often collaborates with other major artists and producers, including Capleton, Buju Banton, and Mobb Deep. He has received a MOBO Award nomination for Best International Reggae Artist of the Year.

Lloyd Lovindeer, known simply as Lovindeer, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist, deejay, songwriter, and satirist. He is best known for his massive 1988 hit single "Wild Gilbert" which humorously describes the experiences of Jamaica during Hurricane Gilbert and became the island's biggest-selling single. Lovindeer began his career in the early 1970s as part of the group The Fabulous Flames. He launched a solo career after the group disbanded in the mid-1970s, during which time he lived in Canada from 1976 to 1982. Upon returning to Jamaica, he gained popularity in the 1980s with hits such as "Babylon Boops" (a response to Super Cat's "Boops"), "Don't Bend Down", and "Man Shortage".
"Wild Gilbert": His most famous song, "Wild Gilbert," was released in September 1988 and became a cultural phenomenon in Jamaica, selling an estimated 50,000 to 200,000 copies and providing a humorous social commentary on the natural disaster. He followed up with other notable songs like "Pocomania Day," which spurred a trend of "Poco style" releases. He continues to release music, with his latest album, Jamaica: Land of the One Love People, released in 2013.
