What a weekend in Ohio! 🪗🇸🇮

Last weekend, Polka Time took to the skies for the Slovenian Sausage Festival, and despite a little rain, it was an incredible day filled with great music, great food, and plenty of familiar faces!

I even had the honor of serving as one of the sausage judges this year. Tough job, but somebody had to do it! 🌭😂 Of course, there was plenty of live polka music throughout the day, and I even got to pull out the buttonbox and join in for a set!

No trip to Cleveland would be complete without adding to the record collection, either. Between the Polka Hall of Fame pop-up shop and a friend who let me raid their record collection, about 25 albums made the trip back to Florida with me. You’ll be hearing them on Polka Time in the weeks ahead! 💿

And before heading home, I made a stop at Raddell’s Slovenian Sausage Shop to make sure a little taste of Cleveland made its way back to Florida, too!

A fantastic weekend celebrating Slovenian-American music, food, and tradition. Definitely worth the trip north! 🇸🇮🪗🌭
