Let’s talk about “Any Like Numbers” 🀄✨

Think of this section as the place you can use any of the same number. It is also the section on your card that gives you freedom and flexibility. Any matching numbers in pairs, pungs or kongs in different suits. This section is also where beginners feel like they can finally breathe a little, since you’re not chasing one exact combo.

A great question from the Mahjong mail 💌 bag that came up at a lesson: Where do I draw tiles from?

The secret: leave a “tail” at the end of your wall 🐉 That last stack is twisted to sit perpendicular, telling everyone “don’t draw from here.” You draw from the opposite end, working toward the tail as the game goes on.

No tail = easy to lose track of where you started (especially mid-conversation 👀). Small detail, big difference 🀄✨
