Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza and Happy Winter Solstice too! I stopped in to in to check out the holiday treats and hooo boy, it was hard to decide what to pick!

If you didn’t know, everything at Erin’s is vegan, gluten free, soy free and kosher AS IS! 😍 I took home the super cute Christmas waffle which was as delicious as it is photogenic, a cake pop and a gingerbread person. I loooved the kick of fresh ginger you can taste in the cookie, it was so full of flavor!

Let me know if you are adding any of these to your holiday table (or just immediately chowing down on them!) and what your favorites are! Be sure to scroll thru to see everything that was available when we went, items may vary when you visit! Thank you, for treating us (literally) right all year! 🎄🧑🏼‍🎄🎁❄️☃️🍪🍩🧁🍰🎂

✨ Finally tried the artichoke 🌱 cakes from River Roost lounge. Totally worth the wait!

I also enjoyed the vegan options from Boatwright’s Dining Hall, and since I wasn’t in the mood for a salad, they kindly brought us the artichoke cakes from right next door. 🙌😍🥳

👉 Swipe to see all I enjoyed (plus the salad from a previous visit!)

Ahhh, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. When Disney says “plant-based what now??” 🫠

I will save my rant for my blog post which I’m about to update, but over time we are losing plant-based/vegan options and it’s hard not to take it personally (not me personally, but vegans, on the whole). This year the black and white cookie was made Mickey-shaped and no longer plant-based and instead we got that holiday classic: Cranberry Oatmeal 🥴 (I did actually enjoy this but it could be an anytime cookie and feels out of place with the festive non-vegan options imo)

🫔 The tamale returns again this year, and I actually had to do two takes on my video because it was so cold and dried out I almost choked 😬 the second attempt wasn’t much better. Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a good corn masa with filling. This is not it. If they are making these in bulk ahead of time, they need to ensure they don’t get dried out and cold.

🥔 Latkes also return and were the one bright spot of the evening. They are perfectly seasoned and well cooked. I would eat 100 if I could. It would be nice to have something else to go with them.

🚫 🥜 Peanut stew, which used to be a favorite had slowly gone down in quality, with the rice and grains getting crunchy and weird over time, but I still loved the sauce and flavors. So I’m bummed it’s gone.

🌰 And the nuts that we have all year are back as well as roasted chestnuts, which I do enjoy but I think they are a love it or hate it item haha.

Not mentioning the Raspberry Dole Whip because why is that even a noted option? Nothing holidays about it.

👉 I’ll have more in my upcoming video review and updated blog post which I will share soon! Until then, enjoy the festive decorations, entertainment and atmosphere, and the latkes. 😅

As always, your mileage may vary.

This bowl has changed more times than Aurora’s dress in Sleeping Beauty, and good luck finding an accurate listing in th app or website!

But you can rely on having some sort of vegan power bowl waiting for you if you want a quick-service breakfast option at Disney’s Contemporary Resort! Will it have tofu? Will it have Just Egg? Will it have sweet potatoes AND red peppers and pickled onions? Only the ancient ones know. 😅

This is what is currently (as of posting this) available but is not able to be mobile ordered and the app/site does not list it correctly.

It’s definitely not my favorite combination of flavors, the peppers really overpower the whole dish, but the “salsa verde” (more like a chimichurri vinaigrette/sauce, IS a favorite. It’s SO good. It would be amazing to have a piece of bread to dip in here or something.

Let me know if you’ve given this a try and what was in your bowl when you did!
