5k and Half Marathon done and dusted!

Did the half go the way I wanted? No. Got swept right before mile 12, but I’m more than happy with how far I went. It was disgustingly humid this weekend, but that didn’t take away from the fun that was had!

Getting to run through the castle and over three finish lines was something I have always dreamed about! I was worn out and hurting by the end, but hey look, I made it!!

This was my third attempted half, but first one I crossed the finish line for (with all 13.1 miles and not counting Marathon weekend half of a half)! On to Stitch’s Ohana Challenge in April!
