Pow Pow! 💙💙 I had so much fun at Megacon today as Powder!

It’s my graduation weekend and we’ve been celebrating getting through a VERY challenging year, both mentally and physically. Six months ago, I lost my mom to cancer and it took a huge toll on my mental health. Later, my physical health, while always not the greatest, started to worsen and last month I got diagnosed with Breast Cancer- just a few days before the six month anniversary of my mom’s passing. All while trying to get through college. It’s been a huge mental relief for me to have gotten through school when and how I did, and I’m looking forward to recovering quickly so I can get to creating lots more art again and can kickstart my game art career :)! This trip is my last “big thing” before lots and lots of chemo so I’ve been doing all I can! I’ve been getting back into cosplay recently and really appreciate the outlet that it’s been giving me lately. You haven’t seen the last of me or powder,and I hope to get a few more pictures of some of the work I’ve been making recently soon 💕

Unfortunately for me, time away from attending conventions does NOT make you more immune to con crud :( but I have the week off from my classes for Summer break to rest so soon I’ll be back to making again! I think my next big costume project is going to be Marvel Rivals Magik! (+fixing up my admittedly awful jinx wig) so if you’d like to follow me along for that be sure to check in soon!🥰

ALSO while we’re on the subject of my creative near future, and im sort of really bad at plugging my work while I’ve been in art school, my kofi slots are currently completely open for art comms!! Okey Dokey! 💙💛

Had an absolute BLAST hanging out with everyone at this weekend!

I’ve been working on sewing this little costume for over 2 years because not gonna lie I was fighting for my life over the pattern I used and it ended up being a much larger project than I ever expected 😭 I’m so happy with how it turned out in the end and how it held up (though I did rip my pants seam on velocicoaster at the after party… it did get repaired) It’s been a while since I’ve been able to cosplay at an event and I’ve been SOOO excited to debut her finally! The event itself was so fun with so many vendors and creators and SO MUCH FALLOUT EVERYWHERE! It was so great to get to meet and connect with everyone especially over at 💕

I feel so happy and reinvigorated in a hobby and art form I’ve always had so much love for and not as much time for as recently- I wanna roll back into things full steam ahead from here now ngl lol there are so many things on my list I need to get to work on!

I’ll be posting more about the event very soonnn!! I got so many pics and videos lol

Hehe this week is pretty stressful bc I’m learning how to 3D model for the first time ever but it’s p hard when my illnesses and disabilities keep sabotaging me the whole way lol. I know it’s a hurdle I’m passing soon, but I /am/ keeping my comms on pause until I get all caught up🖤

I’ve been on a cozy games kick again as well! Coral island is my current hyperfixation but I would LOVE new suggestions! I’m also checking out Palia!

Texas has been great so far and I’m getting settled in nicely! It’s been about a month here now. Next steps for me will be establishing new healthcare solutions for my chronic pain/illnesses so I can live life to the fullest here ❤️

I’m not rlly active on this account anymore because I’ve been trying to work exclusively on my art now! It’s been a LONG year in so many ways but I’m currently in Austin pursuing game art, moved into a wonderful house with a wonderful person, and excited for the future! I’ll post updates here every now and then but more consistent content can be found over at 🖤🖤

A little update post! Yesterday I moved into my apartment at Flamingo Crossings Village. I spent the weekend with my family at Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs, and I’m really loving it here so far! It rains a LOT here and at one point during the weekend we lost our car in the massive parking lot during a huge downpour. I met my all time favorite, Kylo Ren, and spent a LONG time in Batuu. I can’t wait to post more about my adventures here!

So this is going to be the last of my “row” posts. It’s hard to keep up, especially now, and so many things happen in life that it’s hard to compile into 3 pictures of similar style/content. I love the way it looks aesthetically, but I’m in need of a change!

I am now a month out until I move 13 hours away to Orlando. It’s scary and exciting, but right now my mind is on more important things than college- my mom. She was recently diagnosed with stage 3 cancer which has spread to other areas. It’s hitting our family hard. If you’re able and willing, we have a GoFundMe which is l!nked in my ß!0 .
