MSC Cruises has a brand-new private island, Sandy Cay, currently under construction right next to Ocean Cay! The island is scheduled to officially open in 2028, although there’s a chance of a soft opening for select guests as early as November 2027.
The timing could be especially exciting, coinciding with the launch of MSC World Atlantic and the start of two ships docking at Ocean Cay. Sandy Cay is already starting to take shape, and it’s looking absolutely amazing! We can’t wait to see the finished island and experience everything it has to offer!
