It was a peaceful morning in the flowers for the 1st phototography session, to kick off day 4 of 17.

We had a small line of rain on the radar & we were hopeful it would give the flowers a drink. It did sprinkle 2 or 3 minutes but that's not gonna be enough. So you know what that means...Tonight, we will put the watering pole up & give them a drink after sessions are complete.

The flowers are full of butterflies & bees. Caught a picture this morning of a monarch enjoying some breakfast. Many are fearful of the bees but I tell them in the 4 years we have been growing sunflower circles, neither one of us have been stung. Even when I had to clean up a lot of broken stalks after a severe storm. They just want the flowers aka food.

14 more nights of potential flowers & possibly more...we will play it by ear.

Once the flowers don't look ideal, we will pivot to the fall setup for those interested.

We are wrapping up the last session shortly & will be heading home to do evening chores.

Making guacamole to have with our taco salad for dinner. Then showers & do it all again tomorrow morning.

Good Saturday morning from our spectacular sunflower circles.

Hope y'all had a great Friday. I hung out with our 4 year old nephew for a little bit earlier this afternoon. This evening we hung out at the property while a photographer had sessions. We had some extra special visitors & got some pictures of them & got a picture of us together. Making memories is what it's about.

The sunflowers got watered tonight & are looking beautiful! I didn't take any video, just this picture & a few of my special visitors. I'll try to get some videos before it gets busy tomorrow. The counter at the end of the evening. (Taken during the last session) Doing a giveaway (on a previous post)What will the number will be at the end of Sunflower sessions?

Also, please keep your children & dogs on the paths & don't step thru or over the flowers. The stems get broken & not fair to those with future sessions. & PLEASE DON'T CLIMB OR ROCK THE ARCH!
