Untouched snow glistening in the sunshine☀️

My little sidekick and I wandered the homestead today, chasing patches of sunshine and breathing in the crisp afternoon air. After a long winter filled with sickness, it felt like the tiniest whisper of spring saying, “I’m on my way.” 🌞🌱

Several years ago, I cultivated a collection of gourds that have been stored in the garage, awaiting transformation into unique art pieces. What has hindered my progress? Initially, when the gourds were ready, I was expecting and the cleaning process, which requires removing significant mold, was not feasible. Fast forward two years, and I have finally allocated time to focus on creative pursuits. I will share some of my completed projects in the comments below.

As I conclude the 2025 gardening season, I am filled with immense gratitude. Our efforts have yielded a bountiful harvest, stocking our freezer and shelves, while also providing invaluable insights to enhance our farming techniques for a successful farmstand next year. Although unforeseen challenges and self-doubt may have arisen, I have already begun strategizing to bring greater value to our community in the future.
