Introducing Ian Valencia, the newest member of our team here at Deluge Media.

Two months ago he moved to Owego all the way from Oklahoma City for an Editor & Production Assistant position here. He calls it his dream job and boy do we hope to live up to such a high compliment!

A huge fan of Dune, fueled by heavy metal, and a Mario Kart master... let's just say he has good taste 🏁

LIGHTS CAMERA ELLEN!

Today Ian and I had the pleasure of filming the wonderful Ellen Pratt's interviews for our mini-doc series for Tioga County Sustainability. Ellen is as passionate as she is friendly, and whether the cameras are rolling or not she's always a joy to talk with. This wraps production for these docs. Now its on to the editing room to make some magic happen 🎥

Last weekend, we had the amazing opportunity to capture the offloading of one of two 425 ton Hyundai transformers from a cargo vessel at The Port of Albany.

At a later point, we’ll be joining these transformers along their journey from Albany to Elmira via Schnabel railcar, documenting not only their transport but the installation at their final destination.

Shoutout to .valencia.96 for assisting in making this production happen and for capturing these behind the scenes photos.
