I had to temporarily reactivate my page so that Meta support could look into a few more things to try and resolve the problems with my account (yeah, right. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ll believe it when I see it😂)
So I thought why not share a post.

Painted a little something for an upcoming Valentine's Day card.💗
These paints aren't true watercolors. They're somewhere between watercolor and gouache, and are a bit opaque. But I love the colors in this palette for florals.✨

It is with much sadness that I will be deactivating this page at the end of the month.

I hope you will all follow me on YouTube, where I will continue creating and sharing my love of watercolors, journal making, paper crafts, thrifting, and other content like gardening and our home life, where we’re new to country living.

Unfortunately, Meta/Facebook support has been unable to help me resolve the issues with my page. I have been trying since October to fix my account. All they seem to do is regurgitate the same scripted responses, with no actual help being provided. It’s like going round and around in circles while jumping thru all of their hoops. It’s been a source of daily frustration and very time consuming.

I was told by one support person everything would be fine after 30 days. I waited and the problem persisted so I contacted support and another person told me to wait 90 days. On another occasion I was told Ai technology had incorrectly flagged my page. One support person told me the problem was with my personal account. Another said the issue was an entity connected to this page (I’m the only one on this page) had violations, which I’ve never had. One said my identity couldn’t be verified. And the most recent said my payout account was hacked into!

I have done everything they have asked of me. I’ve filled out and submitted all of the forms and reports I was told to, provided screenshots, have had phone conversations with them, allowed screen sharing, held countless support chats, to no avail. All while paying them my monthly fee to have the verified blue checkmark.

I am at my wits end with this platform and I’ve run out of options.

On the bright side ~ nothing will ever stop me from creating and sharing art!✨

Unfortunately, I will need to immediately discontinue posting to this page, and unless I can find a solution, I will possibly be shutting it down completely in the near future.

If you recall back in October I shared having trouble with my account.
It has been determined that I have once again been hacked, and according to facebook support, this time they have gotten into the financial area of account.
This is obviously deeply concerning, and the support team has provided very little help over these past months.

Please know that if I could see any other way to solve this, I certainly would.

I appreciate each and every one of you being here with me. If you enjoy my content and would like to continue to be a part of my community, I hope to have you come over to my YouTube channel if you’re able. If you can’t for whatever reason, I understand.

Nothing will ever stop me from creating and sharing my art with others.💖

With my sore throat, my voice is still quite raspy. It was really bad a few days ago when I asked Mr. Vintage: "Do I sound sultry like Kathleen Turner?" His reply: "Deeper, more like Sam Elliot." 😂No lies were detected!🤣

Thrifting Thursday was just a quick run through but I still saw a few neat things.😁

Woke up to a fresh dusting of snow on the ground. I love snow and winter, but after the new year arrives I'm always in antici...... pation (I can never say that word without the Rocky Horror reference😂) of spring's arrival.🌷
So for Watercolor Wednesday l've painted a loose floral. Bright roses and greenery in a vase. I'm still sick y'all, but am starting to feel better. Each day that passes the crud lessens.
I'm not sure if I'll be thrifting tomorrow but if I do go, I'll make sure to wear a mask.😷

Maybe I’m just crabby today because I’m sick with a head cold, sore throat, and very little sleep… but here’s a little reminder:

Think a bit before you comment, folks. And try not to judge. I’m more than happy to share and explain the how’s, what’s, and why’s of the way I do things.
I strive to be both accommodating and polite, and I would appreciate the same energy in return.

On this Sunday maybe we can all (including myself) reflect on how we interact with one another on social media.

Sorry I'm just now getting around to posting yesterday's video. It was a quick shopping trip for Thrifting Thursday. The store was doing some major clearing and cleaning, and to be honest I wasn't really feeling up to thrifting.
It turns out as soon as I got home I started getting a sore throat and congestion. 🦠 😩
This is one reason why I love staying home.
