Apple Bottom Silkies Stay at home mom because my son is autistic level 2 so he needs help. I started raising chickens 3 years ago. I also make cakes on the side. We love our chickens.

Been super busy here recently! This predator ( kitten) will be making a road trip to a rescue. She been to the vet had all her shots. Plus flea treatment and tested for Felv/Fiv as well. We will be driving her to her first stop on her train to the rescue. It takes a village to help babies in need. ❤️

With really cold weather coming in later today and tomorrow. Added extra bedding to the coops. Unscrewed the water hose. If it’s as cold as they says it going to be might need to get out the chicken water heaters so the water doesn’t freeze.

Our predator in the back yard. Yes it’s about 8 to 10 week old kitten. 🤦‍♀️ found by my daughter. Needs less to say….She is inside chilling with my cats. She has been posted to local sites to see if anyone is missing her also animal control has been notified too. She will be spoiled until they have room for her.

Went and picked up a new little buff boy yesterday! He will be hanging out with Tater salad the one little pullet we kept from Peony Puff silkies. These will be my daughter’s two. Pictures to follow once he is out of quarantine.

Decided to let me broody girls hatch a few eggs. The question is are they fertilized and if so what’s the hatch rate on them. Three girls broody 7 eggs marked. Guess we will find out. Stay tuned!
