A. Taylor is the author of "Angelina", not yet published. This is the first of many books, Allison was raised in Detroit, Michigan.

Allison Taylor is an Author & Freelance Writer/Editor/Illustrator with a niche in creative writing. She is the 2nd to the last of 3 brothers and 2 sisters and has had a modest upbringing. Allison attended Detroit Public Schools and found very early on her niche was creating. She loved drawing, sketching, designing, playing the trumpet, writing, and creating storylines. After graduating high school

, she attended a local community college where she majored in Drafting and Architectural Design but was unfortunately discouraged by a professor whose views on women in architecture, at that time, believed women couldn’t make partners and an apprentice was her destiny, at best. So, unfortunately, at that time in her life, and being only 19 years old with a young son, she was discouraged. Allison believed that professor and chose to walk away from her dream. She then decided to try her hand at beauty school for manicuring where she graduated at the top of her class. Allison also received a “Certificate in Creativity” which is an honor amongst manicurists. But that too was short-lived as Allison found it to be a daunting task dealing with clients. She soon figured out that she was more of an introvert in the sense that she loved to interact socially but found her best ideas were created in her own personal space. So, on her path to today, she honed her creativity skills by working in different niches and starting up several different hobbies to help to keep her creativity updated. Her drive to learn eventually led her to a 14-year career in law enforcement, which leads us to Allison’s path today….

My first novel, “Angelina”, is still in the works. It is difficult to finish a book, work a full time job, be a wife, do me and all of the other daily living processes involved in everyday life. But, I was granted some time off by Mr. Taylor so that I can get my books, blogs and freelance writings completed.
