Shades of Gender is an open platform for all who are interested in the transgender, cross-dressing and non-binary gender communities. The Shades of Gender platform is all about identifying these groups, listening to their stories, and their journeys in life to date to get a better understanding of who they are and how they are doing in society. The definitions of these groups are largely misunderstood and misrepresented. And in spite of how the media may characterize and what others may select as their definitions of what these labels represent, our goal is to get to know the real people behind these titles.
