KL7ADV - Summer Field Day! Great Weekend! We met some local ham operators and got some interesting looks from passersby folks. Special thanks to the crew Doug KL7DUG and Jeramy KL7EC helped setup and provided gear and equipment and operated for the club. Other people that stopped by, Ty KL2WX - Ralph KL7RW, Gary KL7G, Bill KL5TY and Will AL9D. We made several hundred contacts, digital, phone and CW, satellite 🛰️ and sent our Winlink email! We had quite the antenna farm going on. Thanks to the amazing wives for coming with us and feeding everyone 💪 in “nerdville” 🤣 No hexbeams were injured in this outing 😆

We will have 3 stations running for the ARRL Summer Field Day at a POTA Park!!! https://pota.app/ #/park/US-11834 Be sure to swing your antennas north and grab a cup of QSO's with one or all of the gang. KL5NE or KL7EC or KL7DUG and many others ! I even heard rumor that Jeramy might do some CW 🙂

The club was out in force, we ended up with 624 QSO's! We made a contact with every single State except Hawaii, darn we almost got our Worked all States on our first club activation! It was still above Epic. We worked 5 bands SSB and multiple bands FT8. The guys really killed it nice work! [KL7DUG, KL7EC and KL5NE] and KL5DY made a showing in the evening for a bit!
